The client was trying to reach a fair niche group of people - Public Sector employees in Louisiana. He tried many other marketing techniques but knew there was a substantial amount of people he simply couldn’t reach on his own.
FLEX360 developed a campaign specifically targeting employees in the Louisiana Public Sector with a hyper-targeted message and offer. We pulled addresses for every government building in Louisiana and then drew “fences” around those in order to serve the people in those buildings our client’s ads. This method, known as Micro Proximity, eliminated as much “waste” as possible since the client only wanted to reach public sector employees rather than just anyone in Louisiana.
The campaign ran from May 11-June 6 and performed extremely well. Our client’s display ads were viewed 181,017 times and received 403 clicks as a direct result of their campaign, giving a click-through rate of 0.22%.
Micro Proximity campaigns tend to see a slower build because it depends on how many people enter the buildings we’re geofencing. We combated this with a hyper-targeted message that these employees wouldn’t be banner blind to. Our creative was bright and eye-catching, plus the offer was a great incentive for people to click! This campaign was very successful, and we are looking forward to reaching, even more, people for our client.
