FLEX360 Website Launch: ArkansasEd.org

The Arkansas Department of Education supports the 468,066 students who make up the state's 1,080 public and charter schools in 239 districts. Public engagement and communication are an integral part of its mission.

The redesigned ArkansasEd.org enables the department to carry out that mission more effectively than ever. The user-friendly site is easily navigable, provides an upgraded search engine and features new options such as photos and graphics that highlight the department's events and initiatives.

"We're very excited about the new features and access to information this site provides our users," said Dr. Tom Kimbrell, state education commissioner. "This is another step in our goal to meet the needs of students, educators, parents and citizens."

The site also includes an improved calendar of events, a "Most Asked Questions" section, and an updated and user-friendly directory of all public and charter schools in the state.
