North Little Rock's Laman Library chooses FLEX360
March 8, 2010
The William F. Laman Library has selected Little Rock, Arkansas based web design firm FLEX360 to design, develop and market the library's new online initiative. The Laman Library was opened in 1947 and in 2003 the facility went through a major overhaul to make it one of the more functional and attractive public libraries in the region. The 2003 renovation nearly doubled the size of the library giving it total space of nearly 50,000 square feet. One of the new features of the library is the Exhibit Hall which allows Laman Library to host events, galleries and exhibits.
Located just off Interstate 40 in midtown North Little Rock, the library is named for long time North Little Rock Mayor William F. "Casey" Laman who held office from 1958 to 1972 and then again from 1979 to 1980.
FLEX360 and the team at Laman Library will be conceptualizing a new look for the website to match branding and aspects of the updated facility as well as integrating various tools to help the library patrons interact with the many services they offer.
