FLEX360 website launch: arkansashouse.org

The Arkansas House of Representatives and FLEX360 partnered to develop a new website allowing the public increased insight into the day to day operations of the state's legislative branch of government. The team at FLEX360 worked with Craig Douglass Communications of Little Rock, AR on the website concepts and implemented new interactive features including a blog, events calendar, photo/video galleries, social media integration, bill tracking and a dynamic "find your representative" mapping application.
Granicus Inc. of San Francisco, CA, which specializes in streaming media for government agencies, tied their video technology to arkansashouse.org to allow increased public access to view proceedings online.
The website was launched in time for the first ever 2010 Fiscal Session and will continue to grow in content and functionality as the House becomes more proactive in sharing the legislative process with the citizens of Arkansas.
