FLEX360 Launches Redesigned FloridaTrend.com

Little Rock-based Web development firm FLEX360 unveiled the redesigned FloridaTrend.com.The new Web site, the online home of the state-wide business magazine Florida Trend, combines a massive amount of information and resources that are both easy to find and easy to use.

A variety of E-newsletters and RSS feeds keep FloridaTrend.com users in the know. The relaunched site also features an interactive map for readers to get news from one of 12 geographical areas. Or they could search through more than a dozen vertical categories. And a "Most Read Articles" section chronicles all the popular stories.The new site also encourages more user participation, through an interactive poll, classified advertising and a statewide events calendar.

Data resources also play a big part in the improved FloridaTrend.com. Lists, surveys, infographics and more are catalogued in one easy-to-use section. Live weather reports from nine locations and an automatically updating stock ticker are also new upgrades.The site's attractive, orderly design makes navigation simple yet not aesthetically dull.

"It's important that a Web site with as much info and as many tools as FloridaTrend.com also have a design that's well organized but not boring," FLEX360 Director Brent Birch said. "The design keeps users interested without getting lost."
