FLEX360 to Redesign Arkansas Activities Association Site

FLEX360 Web Development of Little Rock has signed a development deal to redesign AHSAA.org, the Web site of the Arkansas Activities Association, FLEX360 Director Brent Birch announced.The new site will offer a trove of resources for the Arkansas Activities Association, the governing body for sports, performing arts and other sanctioned extracurricular activities in Arkansas schools.

Birch said the redesigned AHSAA.org will not only enhance its members’ experience but also make participation more efficient.

"We are excited to help an organization as active and successful as the Arkansas Activities Association best utilize all of its resources through a variety of creative Web applications," Birch said. "This is a great opportunity we have to make such a powerful Web site."

Among the new additions to the site benefiting students and their parents are online conference and event registration with dynamic forms, interactive maps that provide directions to schools and other locations, a comprehensive events calendar, and more.

Arkansas Activities officials, coaches, principals, and other team and group leaders also will get to take advantage of several new features: online fee renewals; the ability to post and edit team rosters, along with team photos; and even a schedule clearinghouse that allows coaches to post open dates and communicate with other coaches to fill them.

And the Arkansas Activities Association itself will be able to better communicate news and information to its members across several mediums, including e-newsletters for select groups, such as coaches, principals and officials; webcasting for rules meetings; a news article administration to post stories online and in e-newsletters; e-mail driven auto reminders for paperwork deadlines; and more. The site is expected to launch in July 2008.
