FLEX360 Launches BirdsofArkansas.org

FLEX360, the Little Rock-based Web development firm, announced the launch of BirdsofArkansas.org.The Web site, developed for Audubon Arkansas and the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, is geared toward beginning bird-watchers and provides basic information, photos and songs for the 100 most common Arkansas bird species.
The site's database of birds provides a variety of search options, including alphabetically, by family, by season, by color, by habitat and by size. Within the detailed report of every bird is a trove of information, and users can even access sound files on certain species.A resource section of the site contains various downloadable field guides, helpful links and a place to submit significant Arkansas bird records.
"There could not be a more useful site for Arkansas bird enthusiasts," FLEX360 Director Brent Birch said. "Those with an interest in The Natural State's extensive collection of birds should have lots of fun and find plenty of helpful resources on this site.
"The attractively designed site uses natural tones and clean lines, making it both easy to use and easy on the eyes.
