FLEX360, the Little Rock-based Web development firm, has designed and launched SissysLogCabin.com for Sissy's Log Cabin, Arkansas' largest independently owned jewelry store.
The gracefully designed site connects the retailer's customers and employees with its entire catalog. A custom shopping cart application built by FLEX360 interfaces with Sissy's entire inventory, putting 12,000 square feet of fine jewelry, gifts and antiques all on one Web site. Sissy's can easily keep track of its inventory, and customers can log in and shop online just as if they were in the store.
Site users can also create account profiles that allow them to save and return to their favorite items through customized Wish Lists. Other features include a guide to choosing a diamond, an Ask the Expert section, interactive driving directions to the store and an updating calendar of events.
FLEX360 Director Brent Birch describes the site as one of FLEX360's most ambitious e-commerce endeavors to date."We've created a Web site that simultaneously makes a pleasant online shopping experience for Sissy's Log Cabin customers and a capable inventory tracking system for Sissy's employees," Birch said.
