FLEX360 to Develop New Site for Chicago Parent

FLEX360 Web Development of Little Rock has signed a development deal to redesign Chicagoparent.com, the online home of Chicago Parent magazine, according to Brent Birch, FLEX360 director.

The monthly parenting magazine, produced by Wednesday Journal Inc. of Oak Park, of Ill., has been popular with Chicago-area families for more than 20 years. FLEX360’s redesign of the site will include increased functionality and a colorful, fun new look.

Birch said the FLEX360 team was excited about increasing the profile of the already popular magazine. “We realize how important it is these days for parents to be able to quickly and easily access local family news and activity ideas,” Birch said. “This site is going to be a great resource for parents all around the Chicago area, and one they’ll come back to time and again.

”Blogs and discussion boards will also make the new site an online community for Chicago-area parents.

“There will be some great opportunities for social networking on the new site,” Birch said.
