FLEX360-designed SBJ.net Wins AABP Gold Award
July 10, 2006
Little Rock-based Web development firm FLEX360 helped the Springfield Business Journal win best regional business journal Web site in the country at a recent competition held by the Alliance of Area Business Publications.
SBJ received a gold award for its Web site, SBJ.net, at the Los Angeles-based association's annual summer conference held June 1-3 in Little Rock.
In awarding SBJ.net the gold award, judges said, "This is the little newspaper that can. Sleek, sophisticated use of color in the navigation bars sets a pleasing frame for a well-organized site. Fast-loading pages highlight effective yet unobtrusive advertising, and its e-forms could be a model for others. And to top it off, this site has strong contact pages and easy-to-use RSS feeds."
Launched in September 2005, SBJ.net includes daily and weekly e-newsletters that cover a variety of business industries, including investments, real estate and technology. FLEX360 designed and implemented a dynamic, database-driven site that includes the latest weekly edition of the newspaper, continually updated daily news, calendars, photos, RSS and more.
SBJ is one of several business journal sites FLEX360's team of developers and editors have designed since 2005.
